HDMI 4K2K Analyser and Enhancer

The HDMI 4K2K Analyser and Enhancer is designed to sample HDMI High Definition (HD 1080p) and Ultra High Definition (UHD 4K2K) video/audio streams and uses LED lamps to display the signal characteristics. It gives a visual indication of the HDMI HD or UHD signal parameters such as the Bandwidth size, the level of HDCP protection and the method of EDID signalling. Sub-sampling of 4K2K YUV444 signalling to 4K2K YUV420 signalling enables display on 1080p HDTV's and even extend the viewing distance by up to ten metres (10m) for larger rooms.

Very easy to instal and operate, the HDMI 4K2K Analyser and Enhancer requires only a low power 5vDC supply for operation. Input and output HDMI ports are standard Type A female with LED lamps for signal status indication. Once connected, the input HDMI signal is auto-detected and analysed for Bandwidth size, between 3G or 6G, confirm the version of HDCP (High-bandwidth Digital Copy Protection), between 1.4 and 2.0 and read the EDID settings (Extended Display Identification Data) sourced from Internally, Externally or User defined.

The HDMI 4K2K Analyser and Enhancer allows the User to make changes to the HDMI signal parameters by use of soft-touch button's. Press 'YUV420' to sub-sample the output signal from YUV444 to YUV420, for easier display to HDTV's. The source for EDID settings can be changed to suit your needs, simply press the 'EDID' button to select between Internal (1080p 2CH), External (as per source equipment), or User configurations (by PC via the Service USB port, download your pre-made EDID configurations for specific usage). The third button 'SRC' is to force the attached HDTV to always display the output image.
