The Coaxial/Optical to R/L Audio Converter is designed to accept a Digital audio signal and convert it to an Analog audio signal. Connect Digital Optical and Co-axial audio signals to the converter via SPDIF interface. This means that a HD 8 bit colour HDMI signal can extend up to a distance of 45 meters, before being converted back to the same high quality HD 8 bit colour HDMI signal being transmitted. For a HD 12 bit colour HDMI signal, the distance reduces to around 15-20 meters.
