Video Scalers

Video Scalers are designed to scale up or scale down the display size of video images to better utilise the attached monitors display area. HDMI, DVI, VGA and Component Video Scalers are the most common, scaling from basic Standard Definition (SD) video thru
to High Definition (HD) and Ultra-High Definition (UHD) video.

A quality Video Scaler uses high-logic algorithms to quantify the difference in the pixel rates of the detected attached monitor to that of the incoming video signal. The Scaler can then automatically select the recommended (or native) conversion size to best suit the video signal to the monitor.

Again, quality Video Scalers will allow you to select the size of the output display signal manually. This allows you to best match an output resolution from the Video Scaler with both standard and non-standard displays.

Extra functions some better quality Video Scalers incorporate include tools for controlling the appearance of the output signal from the Scaler. Adjust parameters for colour, brightness, contrast, aspect ratio, under-scan and over-scan etc.

 

We have a wide range of Video Scalers that work with VGA, Component, DVI and HDMI video signals, reproducing high quality video images on any attached monitor.

For Component and VGA scaling we have two (2) products available. The ID#81, "PC/HDTV to PC/HDTV Converter", which works upto 1080i resolution and the ID#694, "PC-HD to PC-HD Scaler w/PC-HD pass-thru", that works up to Full HD 1080p resolution.

For digital DVI video we have the ID#442, " DVI Digital scaler with ultra high bandwidth Scaler" and the ID#15198, "DVI to DVI Scaler Converter", both handling up to 1080p input/output resolution.

A number of different HDMI HD and UHD Scalers are available, including the ID#564, "HDMI Video Scaler", the ID#869, "HDMI to HDMI Scaler Box", the ID#15405, "HDMI to HDMI Scaler Box", the ID#15444, "HDMI to HDMI Scaler Box" and the ID#15520, "4K UHD+ HDMI Scaler".
