PAL or NTSC to DVI Converter

  • 16th June, 2004

The PAL or NTSC to DVI Converter, our most recently released product, is designed to convert video input signals of NTSC, PAL and SECAM to high quality PC and DVI output. This unit features motion compensated deinterlacing algorithms to produce artifact-free progressive scann video signal and a frame rate up-conversion from 50-85Hz. The video inputs of the PAL or NTSC to DVI Converter are 3D de-interlaced and scaled up to PC or HDTV output resolution.

The Converter automatically accommodates worldwide video input systems of NTSC 3.58, NTSC 4.43, PAL, PAL M, PAL N, and SECAM. It has a high performance adaptive digital 4H Comb filter Y/C seperator with adjustable vertical peaking and a vertical temporal filter (VT) to remove jaggy and other de-interlacing artifacts from normal video. The unit has a built in adaptive film mode 3:2/2:2 pull-down, to provide clear and crisp de-interlacing of video originating from 24 fps film, such as DVD movies and an OSD menu with adjustable control on Color, Sharpness, Brightness, Contrast, and Tint (NTSC).
