|The Digital Audio Converter w/ Volume Control is designed to convert an optical or coaxial LPCM audio source to a different sampling rate (up to 192kHz/24-bit). The digital audio processor utilizes DSP engine, instead of software process, to prevent distortion.|
The input audio signal, once converted by the Digital Audio Converter w/ Volume Control, is simultaneously output in both optical S/PDIF and coaxial digital audio formats, which can then be connected to an external amplifier for high quality audio reproduction.
Additionally, the Digital Audio Converter w/ Volume Control supports DSD over PCM (DOP) decoding to PCM in order to further process the audio signal. An in-built sample rate converter allows for rate changes, while a de-pop function helps reduce unwanted noise when plugging into an audio source.
Modes of the Digital Audio Converter w/ Volume Control are changed using side-mount function keys. These select and control the volume level setting, detection of the input sampling rate and selection of the output sampling frequency rate, including 'by-pass' mode.
