HDBaseT to Dual 4K HDMI Scaler with Audio Re-embedding
The HDBaseT to Dual 4K HDMI Scaler with Audio Re-embedding is the receiver end of the HDMI to HDBaseT Scaler with Audio Output (ID#15461) and supports 4K UHD video and audio signals over CAT5e/6/7 cable up to 100m in distance.
Apart from support for Ultra High Definition video and audio, the HDMI to HDBaseT Scaler with Audio Output utilises control and data signalling, handshaking with the transmitting HDMI to HDBaseT Scaler with Audio Output for system monitoring. Both units are fully compliant with HDMI 1.4, compatible with HDMI 2.0 (4K@60Hz, YUV 4:2:0) and support HDCP 2.2.
Dual HDMI outputs of the HDBaseT to Dual 4K HDMI Scaler with Audio Re-embedding function independently of each other, with one downscaling an UHD 4K signal to a HD 1080p signal and the other upscaling a HD 1080p signal to an UHD 4K video signal. In-built 6G test patterns assist with setting up and fine-tuning system parameters for maximum video and audio support.
The HDBaseT to Dual 4K HDMI Scaler with Audio Re-embedding supports LPCM 2,5 and 7 channel surround sound, Bitstream and HD Bitstream audio with an optical digital sampling rate up to 48kHz. A separate L and R analog audio output allows for connection of the de-embedded HDMI audio signal to an external sound system, for easier listening.
A compact but robust design allows for the installation of the HDBaseT to Dual 4K HDMI Scaler with Audio Re-embedding into any area. Local power is via a 5vDC power supply unit (PSU), or can be obtained from the transmitter ends optional 48vDC POH (Power over HDBaseT) feature, which negates the need for any power source at the remote site.
