This HDMI Repeater enhances your long distance HDMI signal transmission by decoding and re-encoding the signal to a new standard, capable of re-transmitting across another 12m without degradation or loss.

This gives a total range of approximately 24m, usually 12m from the source to the converter and then a further 12m from the converter to the sink (monitor) device. This distance is for the higher definition 1080P/UXGA signal. The standard definition signals can even be transmitted up to 30m distance (15m/15m).
