HDMI to Component HD (Y/CrCb/PrPb) Converter features two selectable HDMI source inputs which convert the HDMI input into a High Definition Component output. The HDMI to Component HD (Y/CrCb/PrPb) Converter allows selection between two HDMI sources (up to 1080p & 1080i) for display on your HDTV. Output signal is same as Input signal.
The Dual HDMI to Component HD (Y/CrCb/PrPb) Converter features user friendly front and rear panels, with one button for power on/off function and one button for HDMI source selection, it is very simple to operate. The unit can also be operated with the accompanying fully functional remote control. Coloured LED lamps display clearly which HDMI source you are converting to your HDTV display, and all the display LED's and buttons, and input and output positions are clearly labeled.
High Definition Analog and Digital Component resolutions supported by the Dual HDMI to Component HD (Y/CrCb/PrPb) Converter are:
480p, 480i, 576p, 576i, 720p, 1080p, 1080i (all at a signal refresh rate of 50Hz or 60Hz). The input to output resolutions of the Dual HDMI to Component HD (Y/CrCb/PrPb) Converter are the same, ie the resolution that is being output at the converter's Y/CrCb/PrPb connectors is the same as the resolution being input via the converters HDMI inputs 1 or 2.
If inputting from a HDCP (High Definition Copy Protected) compliant source eg: Blue-Ray DVD, PS3 playstation etc, the signal will only be accepted and passed through at 480p/i and 576p/i.
Analog and Digital Audio signals are generated by the Dual HDMI to Component HD(Y/CrCb/PrPb) Converter and are presented as a left and right Analog output (Audio Out) and as a Co-axial Digital output (Coaxial Out) on the front and rear panels of the converter. The Audio outputs can be easily connected to either audio amplifiers in Home Sound Systems or PA systems in Conference Rooms and Auditoriums.
