USB Universal Serial Bus. A peripheral interface standard used to establish communication between devices and a host controller (usually personal computers). USB is intended to replace many varieties of serial and parallel ports. USB can connect computer peripherals such as mice, keyboards, digital cameras, printers, personal media players, flash drives, and external hard drives. For many of those devices, USB has become the standard connection method.
UXGA UXGA is an abbreviation for Ultra eXtended Graphics Array referring to a standard monitor resolution of 1600x1200 pixels, which is exactly quadruple the default resolution of SVGA (800x600). Dell Computer refers to the same resolution of 1,920,000 pixels as UGA. It is generally considered to be the next step above SXGA (1280x960 or 1280x1024)
UHDV Ultra High Definition Video (UHDV) is an experimental digital video format, currently proposed by NHK of Japan and British Sky Broadcasting and represents an intermediate format also referred to as Quad TV and is mid-way between the HDTV and UHDTV.
