CV/SV to Full HD Mini DisplayPort Scaler is designed to upscale any Composite video/S-Video input source into Mini DisplayPort output with a wide-range of selectable resolutions (up to 1080p). It allows you to display your Composite video/S-Video sources on your TV/Monitor via the Mini DisplayPort interface.
The Mini DisplayPort, a smaller version of the DisplayPort interface, is a digital display interface standard introduced by Apple Computers. Many of Apple's recent products utilise the Mini DisplayPort interface, with many third-party manufacturers also beginning to implement the Mini Display Port interface into their displays.
With this scaler box, you could for example connect your Composite Video source (such as DVD player, Set-top Box etc) to a display with Mini DisplayPort (such as Apple's Cinema Display LCD monitors). Selectable video resolutions are VGA, 480p, 576p, 720p, 1080i, and 1080p@50/60, with the unit also transferring audio allowing you to enjoy both High Definition images and sound consistently. |
