HDMI v1.3 over CAT6 Distributor 8 out allows a CAT6 source to be split into 7 different HDMI outputs. It is intended to be used with a HDMI to CAT6 transmitter unit (eg ID#743 or ID#542), and allows a user to distribute a HDMI source to 7 HDMI displays located up to 40 metres away through two CAT6 cables.
This solution provides a direct input of one CAT6 to a looped output of CAT6 and 7 HDMI outputs, and is a great way to link and display a single source to 8 different screens simultaneously. The CAT6 output can also be treated as an extender to connect to another CAT6 splitter or cascade with other units in multiple layers.
By using the HDMI v1.3 over CAT6 Distributor 8 out (with additional HDMI to CAT6 Transmitter), any device such as DVD / Blu-Ray players, Digital Set Top Boxes, PS3 and XBox 360 Game Consoles, and many other HDMI compliant Multimedia devices can be displayed to eight HDTV's at the same time, perfectly duplicating identical High Definition video images and audio.
The HDMI v1.3 over CAT6 Distributor 8 out also incorporates functions such as EDID, Deep Color, System Reset and IR systems. |
